Magelitz Goldsmithing

I'm Christopher Magelitz, owner of Magelitz Goldsmithing. My interest in jewelry began when I was 17, working at my local jewelry store in Virden, Illinois. I learned from the best salesman and started the journey of bench work, which included changing watch batteries and simple chain repairs. 

 

With a newfound passion following my introduction to the jewelry industry, I pursued proper bench work training at Gem City College in Quincy, Illinois, and completed a certification in Diamond Setting and Jewelry Design. This led me to my first job working at a bench, learning the process of repairing and designing fine jewelry.
